Jardin Majorelle at Marrakech

inner peace at the serene jardin de Majorelle

Weekend in Marrakech

The red city of Marrakesh is a magical place brimming with markets, gardens, palaces, and mosques. Exploring the intimate courtyards and snaking alleyways of the historic Medina took us three days.

Fez Mellah: Jewish Cemetery in Fez

This is a beautiful Jewish neighborhood, the houses are gorgeous with the balconies looking over a busy street. The houses with their  representative front sides give another impression of life

in morocco. Inside the mellah are two synagogues worth visiting. The streets get very crowed near sundown and stay that way until ca. 9 pm. But that's also the time, when nearly every shop is open and the street vendors are there.

A visit to a Private School

It is evident form the pictures  that private schools in Morocco are different , and comparable to US public schools.
The schools are clean, and provide students with learning tools such as computer labs, and books.
The classes are small, there are about 20 students in each class. The courses offered are tailored to fit students’ needs.
